To me, the best way to test out make up, filters and lighting in photos without all the hub-bub is to take a lazy Sunday and take some self portraits. Sometimes it doesn't work out and you don't get much, but every once in a while you get some great shots. I really wanted to toy with dramatic lashes and fun colors. Here are a few of my favorites.
This is a music video by the Sawyer Family and 531 Productions (which I may or may not make a debut in!) ;)
Keep an eye out for the Sawyer Family's new album "The Burning Times", due out in November. See the HD version of this video at www.531productions.com.
I recently had a photoshoot with the lovely Mia. We both had a blast and I think we got some pretty awesome shots. Here are a few of my favorites. Let me know what you think!
Another bored Sunday that turned into a photoshoot:) I wanted to play with soft pinks here and let certain features be the main focus while others took a backseat. Let me know what you think!
I had a photoshoot with the darling Chelsie Phillips a few weeks back, but had to keep it under my hat since the photos were a surprise for her hubby. But now the cat's out of the bag and I can share them with all of you! Make-up by the talented Meghan Birr, hair by me, Special thanks to Brendan for letting us use his GORGEOUS car for the shoot. Enjoy!
I have been drawing since the age of 3, when I used to doodle faces on the back of my Mom's store receipts. Since then, I have dabbled in most mediums, but have firmly dug my heels into painting and photography. I enjoy challenging my own ideas and style in my art and am largely self-taught. I live in Oregon with my talented Husband, Henry, who is a filmmaker (you can see his work here: www.531productions.com) and our invisible cat, Crackers. I work full time as a Graphic Designer.
